The Pampero Ranch Partnership was founded by Larry and Michelle Rasco and Jim and Cynthia Frei. The word Pampero is an Argentine word for a strong wind that blows accross the pampas grasslands of Argentina, Uruguay, and Southern Brazil. The word Pampero is also a word to describe a passion or deep feeling, more commonly used by the Gaucho cowboy of South America.
The Pampero herd is comprised of select longhorn cattle from Rasco Farms in Texas and the Frei Ranch in California.
